Trailer

After studying popular trailers I learned three important things to focus on. first I learned you need a strong song in the background to add suspense. Finding a solid song brings a lot of emotion into the trailer. Second I learned the organization of the clips matters. Selecting the right clips is very important, in addition to selecting the right clips the order of the clips builds suspense therefore the viewer wants to see the film. lastly I learned it's important to give the viewer some info on what's going on but not enough that the trailer spoils the whole movie.

Rationale:

My main goal while creating the trailer was to give the viewer a glimpse at my film. I wanted to give the viewer enough info to know what the film is about, but I didn’t wanna reveal any major events. I used I wide variety of clips to show most of the locations in the film. I also used music to add a lot of suspense and create emotion. All in all I thought my trailer gave the viewer a solid amount of background to make the viewer want to see the film.
